Martin was admitted as a Solicitor in 1998 and has practised as a solicitor in Port Douglas since his admission.
Martin has extensive experience in body corporate matters, including management rights, community titles scheme development, body corporate regulation and disputes. His areas of practice also include property law and conveyancing, the sale and purchase of businesses and farms, retail and commercial leasing, and wills.
Over the course of his career, Martin has acted for numerous bodies corporate, on-site managers and developers throughout Port Douglas, Palm Cove, Cairns and Townsville. He currently acts, or has acted, for many of the bodies corporate situated in Port Douglas.
Martin grew up on a farm on the southern Atherton Tablelands and maintains a strong connection with the farming community and agricultural sector.
Outside of work, Martin is an avid hiker. He has completed the Inca Trail and Kokoda Track, along with numerous other hiking tracks and trails.
